The Foundation Series gives you a solid, off-road capable foundation for the trailer of your design. Not only a sturdy off-road starting-point for the do it yourselfer the Foundation Series is built with modification in mind. The tongue can be bolted to the bed at three different positions depending on your plan. We offer and number of options which bolt right on. You can buy as little or as much as you like depending on your skill level and budget.

THE BASICS

THE STARTING POINT OF THE FOUNDATION KIT COMES WITH EVERTHING YOU NEED TO BUILD AND WIRE THE FRAME. IT IS AVAILABLE IN BARE METAL OR WITH OPTINAL PRIMER (SHOWN). IF YOU SELECT THE TORFLEX OR TRADITIONAL SPRING AXLE WE'LL POSITION AND WELD THE BRACKES. IF YOU CAN WORK A SOCKET WRENCH AND TIE WIRES TOGETHER YOU CAN BUILD THIS TRAILER.

OVERVIEW

TONGUE

The tongue can be attached to bed in 3 positions depending on length of tongue desired and type of load to be carried.

Constructed with Fully Boxed 3 x 2 x 11 Gauge Steel with 3 x 2 x 3/16 Angle cross braces.

4 Hole 3 position channel type receiver accommodates many ball couplers, lunette Rings and we produce an adaptor for swivel type couplers such as Max Couplers and Lock and Roll.

Front Center Brace has pre-drilled holes for mounting accessories or your own fabrications.

BED FRAME

The Foundation Series Bed is featues 3" x 2" x 11gauge steel tubing side rails with 3" x 2" x 3/16" cross-members and a 4" x 2" x 11gauge steel tubing rear bumper cut-outs for 6 inch LED brake lights and Turn Signals. DOT approved amber and red LED button lights fit flush in the frame rails.

The front of the bed is secured with a fixed 1/4" Angle cross-member on the bottom and a bolt-on 1/4" Angle cross-member on top. This sandwiched the frame to tongue connection alowing bolting on both the horizontal and vertical axis.

The total bed surface is 42-1/2 inches by 72 inches.

The Tongue and Bed are Bolted together with 6 to 10 1/2 inch bolts depending on the length configuration.

All holes are drilled on precise 9 inch centers to accept our optional equipment of peices you fabricate.
